Its been a week of highs and lows in the therapy business world for me. I often wonder what I’m going to write about on the blog but this week sees plenty of things to choose from. I think today Im going to do a week in review so here goes:
Tuesday – I’m informed that the hire on my therapy space will be terminated with a months notice, this means I will no longer be working in Annfield Plain from the end of April. This has caused much distress for both me and my lovely landlady, but it is what it is. Of course I’m disappointed, but I have a huge skillset in managing this kind of set back and I’m using lots of techniques on myself including tapping or TFT and the Lightning Process to keep me in a positive frame of mind. So it is back to a home office for a while with rental of ad hoc rooms to see clients.
Wednesday/Thursday/Friday – Two lovely Lightning Process Trainees attended the Lightning Process Seminar and both made some fantastic positive changes. We saw energy increased, mood raised and lots of other positive changes… one thing about delivering the Lightning Process is that it sure does help me as a practitioner to check my own mindset and get me back on track. Its an absolute privilege to deliver it and what a fantastic way to be earning a living
Saturday – A day with my Mum and my Daughter and a well-earned break at the Wool Show in Leeds.. Purchasing yet more craft projects to try when I have the time.
Sunday – A day of tidying up and preparing for bringing my workplace back into the home. Clearing cupboards and getting rid of junk is a great way to move forward in life – A cluttered house means a cluttered mind so I have heard. Feels great to get rid of some junk and create space.
Monday – a day of business planning with my friend and colleague Joanne. We talked about and put final touches to our workshop Calm and Connected which is running on Wednesday 11th April. We are so excited to be delivering a longer version and offering our attendees lunch. After a day of looking at venues and talking about business plans we were very fortunate to visit Billingham Forum who are tremendously supportive and have welcomed us in terms of workshop delivery for the future. So excited to see how that turns out. Look out for us at the Forum in the future!!
Have a great week everyone x
